Presenting The Summit Club Launch Experience

Our hosted weeks in the 4 Vallées combine the thrill of off piste exploration with the ease of a carefully curated and expertly run ski holiday. Each trip brings together a like-minded group of guests, thoughtful guiding and a standout base in resort.

Your sanctuary in the mountains

Your home for the week is a high-end chalet in Haute-Nendaz, a short walk from both the main lifts and the town's restaurants and bars. With beautifully finished alpine interiors, well appointed double/twin bedrooms, generous social living spaces, an outdoor hot tub and dedicated ski storage, it offers a level of comfort and atmosphere that simply isn't possible when guests are scattered between hotel rooms or when opting for 'tuition-only' options.

Fresh tracks await

Top of the world

Beyond the ordinary

At The Summit Club, the mountain is your playground - and we take you far beyond the groomers. From steep couloirs and glaciated faces to expansive powder bowls and secret tree lines, each day is a new frontier of discovery, tailored to the group's ability and ambition.

World-class guiding and instruction

Every Summit Club week is led by highly qualified mountain professionals - a combination of IFMGA certified guides and Swiss breveted instructors, selected to suit the objectives of that particular trip. IFMGA guides, licensed through Switzerland's ASGM, can access more advanced terrain such as glaciated and steeper off piste zones, and bring deep local knowledge of the 4 Vallées. Breveted instructors focus on technical coaching and skill development on and off piste, helping advanced skiers refine their technique and build confidence in challenging terrain. For each departure, The Summit Club designs the guiding set up to strike the right balance between exploration and coaching. Within the week, guests are organised into smaller ski groups by ability and pace, so that every skier can enjoy terrain and objectives that feel appropriately challenging, with plenty of personalised attention.

Trekking

A breathtaking heli-skiing adventure

A signature feature of your trip is a thoughtfully tailored heli-skiing experience - delivering you to remote, untouched terrain far beyond the lift system. Expect wide-open descents, breathtaking scenery, and a sense of freedom in the ultimate alpine escape. You will experience the Alps in a way few ever do - no queues, no boundaries, just pure, uninterrupted descent across some of the most spectacular backcountry terrain in Europe.

A destination ideal for off piste

Sitting at the heart of the world renowned 4 Vallées, Nendaz is an ideal base for advanced skiers who want to make the most of Switzerland's biggest ski domain. From Haute-Nendaz, you have straightforward access to Mont Fort at 3,330m, the key gateway to some of the Alps' most celebrated off piste and itinerary terrain. The local area offers a blend of steep couloirs, marked but unpisted itineraries and more open freeride faces, with fast links via Siviez into the wider 4 Vallées network. For The Summit Club's guests, that means less time commuting around the mountain and more time skiing high quality, varied terrain in every direction.

Less queuing, more action

Your guide doesn't just lead the way - they unlock the mountain. With deep local knowledge, they navigate the lift system and avoid crowded slopes, helping you spend less time waiting and more time on snow.

Modern Alpine chalet accommodation - your social hub in the mountains

Chalet

Refined living in the heart of Nendaz

A short walk from both the main lifts and the centre of Haute-Nendaz, your chalet offers a comfortable base for the week. Elegantly appointed double/twin bedrooms give guests the option to share with a fellow traveller or opt for solo occupancy, creating a calm, private space to retreat to at the end of the day.

High-end amenities and communal spaces

After skiing, you can soak tired legs in the outdoor hot tub, relax in the lounge or simply watch the light change over the surrounding peaks from the chalet's terrace. Generous living and dining areas provide a natural hub for shared meals and social evenings.

Easy to reach, easy to get around

Chalet

Getting to the base

Reaching Haute-Nendaz is straightforward. Most guests fly into Geneva, then take the train to Sion followed by a c. 15 minute taxi or a short bus ride up to Haute-Nendaz. The whole journey from the airport typically takes around 2.5 hours door to door. Alternatively, flights into Sion airport make the journey even more direct.

Getting to the slopes and around the village

Once in resort, you can easily walk from the chalet to the main lifts and the centre of Haute-Nendaz, with free local ski buses linking journeys to other sections of the valley. The village itself has a relaxed, lived in feel, with a great selection of rental and equipment shops to get properly set up. The town is home to several popular bars where you can celebrate the end of your ski day with music and a few drinks, keeping evenings lively without the full on party scene of bigger resorts, so you can enjoy a fun après atmosphere and still feel rooted in a real Swiss mountain village.

Culinary excellence in a social setting

Breakfast: fuelling you up for the day, every morning

Mornings at The Summit Club are designed to set you up properly for the day. On five mornings, you'll enjoy a cooked breakfast - think eggs, pancakes and other hearty options alongside fruit, yoghurt, cereals and good coffee - with lighter continental breakfasts on the remaining two days.

Fine dining

Dinner: fine dining in the comfort of your chalet

After skiing, you return to the chalet to refuel and reset before the evening, with time to visit the hot tub, catch up with other guests or simply relax before dinner. On five nights of your stay, a highly experienced private chef prepares a three course dinner, with menus shaped around seasonal ingredients, elevated Alpine flavours and modern European techniques. Planned in advance and tailored to the group, the dining experience is designed to feel refined, generous and memorable from the first course to the last, combining the luxury of a private dining experience with the ease of a hosted group table. On the other two evenings, guests are free to explore Haute-Nendaz's many highly-rated restaurants and choose their own dining style.

Quality wines to toast the day with

Throughout the week, quality house wines flow freely, and there is always something on hand to raise a glass to another great day on the mountain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to bring my own ski and avalanche safety equipment?

Guests are responsible for arranging their own equipment for the trip, including skis, poles, boots, and suitable avalanche safety kit. At a minimum, we require each guest to have a backpack, transceiver, shovel and probe.

We do not require guests to use airbag systems, although some guests may prefer to do so. If you do choose to travel with an airbag backpack, please check the relevant airline and baggage restrictions in advance, as these can vary by carrier.

Equipment can generally be rented in resort if you do not already own it, although we would recommend reserving in advance, particularly for avalanche safety kit, as stock may vary.

What level of skiing do I need to have?

To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, we ask that guests be comfortable skiing all formal pistes, including ungroomed black runs. This includes navigating challenging terrain with confidence (even if not always with perfect style!), as our adventures take place in more advanced areas.

While pre-existing off piste experience is ideal, it is not a strict requirement. We welcome guests who have a strong skiing background and are eager to expand their skills into off piste terrain with the support of our experienced guides. Our guides are there to assist and will ensure that you're always skiing in a setting which is appropriate for your level.

If you're uncertain whether your level meets our criteria, please don't hesitate to get in touch, and we can help assess your suitability for the trip.

How physically fit do I need to be?

You don't need to be an athlete, but you should be in good physical condition and able to ski challenging terrain for several consecutive days. Because our trips focus on off piste exploration, some ski days may also involve short traverses or boot packing, depending on the snow and the terrain we are skiing. In practice, this means a reasonable level of fitness is important, along with the confidence and stamina to make the most of full days in the mountains.
